The day after Mary’s wedding the newlyweds brought us to the mystical Atulayan Island. Wow, mystical!
About an hour away from Naga City, we reached the coastal municipality of Sangay where we transferred to two large outrigger boats.? I couldn’t believe we could all fit on the boat!
Barely twenty minutes skimming off the mainland we arrived at the? island.? It was a beautifully isolated island.? It was a free day to take in nature’s beauty by the beach.? Imagine the beach was totally ours!? Puerto Galera got nothing on Atulayan.
The thing I enjoyed the most was the food.? THE FOOD!
On my picnic plate:
- Thin pieces of sliced inihaw na liempo (grilled pork)
- Laing (the best)
- Inihaw na bangus (grilled fish)
- Chicken pork adobo
- Steamed rice!
The newlyweds prepared a feast for us by the beach.? Best picnic ever because everything was tasty!? Zesto’s BIG 250 ought to be proud of us for endorsing those juice packs.
Beach activities included riding on a jet-ski…
Swimming and countless picture taking.? What’s new?
Atulayan was a perfect summer retreat off the beaten path.? I love picnics by the beach.

nice entry…. namiss ko tuloy bgla si mary at ang bicol adventures!
